I feel the shop is a bit different from most other threads here.

To me, having a Toyota brought us here -- beyond what we drive we found some good & interesting people who do cool things, we not only share similar interests but also might share some common values too.
(...and it seems values are tough to find in the modern world...)

Read the first post Shane made on page 1, he set the tone for the thread:
"Feel free to jump in with what you do in your garage, shop, at work, or wherever. We're all friends here and enjoy others projects!!!"

"Feel free to jump in - we're all friends here..."
That sentiment has been on every page right along.

Agree it can be time consuming - on the other hand I really look forward to seeing what my friends all around the country are doing today and have learned about lots of new things along the way.

    for @six5crèéd & family

can’t agree more. I actually look forward to seeing everyone’s posts - weather, projects, concerns, health, etc. it’s nice to have different perspectives, sounding boards, and help. It’s like walking into the neighborhood store “for a chat”.
Next up, on “This old lawnmower…”

Morning all, pretty tired today. Had an odd visit last night.. I'm fighting a cold so I'm not sleeping well, and at about 12:30am I heard our screen door carefully open, and there was a gentle knock on the door. That got the wolf hound barking and before I could get there to see who it was they were back in there vehicle backing out of the driveway..

Very suspicious to me. Had a hard time falling asleep again

Yeah that would keep me up all night too. Did you turn on a light or open the door. Did they see you and keep driving?

Didn't turn on a light or open the door. My guess is the dog barking made them leave. Hes a big boy and the bark matches. Wish I could have gotten a better look at them

Definitely would have been unsettling. Your dog may have saved you some grief.

    Good morning and thanks guys.

We got to see the girls yesterday! :yay:

Abigail was released from NICU late yesterday afternoon :woot: She is now staying in Mom’s room which is just outside the NICU doors. Parents can go in and out the NICU whenever they want so everyone, including Abigail in her crib, can come and go to Olivia's room for visits.

Olivia is doing well, breathing room air, and wiggling all over her incubator. She has a feeding tube for now because they are feeding her every 3 hours and it’s the easiest way to insure she gets the amount of milk they want her to have. They will be moving the feeding tube from her mouth to her nose so she can also nurse from a bottle. They expect she will be there 2-5 weeks for her to put on the weight.

Mom is sore but doing well, dad is doing well too.
