Trying to identify a type of tubing.....

    4.56 gears, rear trutrac,DT header, 235/85r16 Duratracs, 2nd filter pulled, inter.wipers, Cruise control, Factory alum. whls/winter tires(2nd set), Afe pro Dry-S , Dumbo eared flaps cut down.
    This tubing is around 1" , looks like aluminum ,could be steel ,( i havent really checked yet),and runs into some connectors with allen head set screws, 2 screws per socket .
    The connecters on the shelf have 3 styles , a 4 way cross pattern , as well as a 4 way straight with 2 at 90 degrees , to form a side/corner of a shelf. The top corners are 3 way all at 90 degrees.

    I'm asking because im repairing/recycling this tube made shelf at work , and only seen it 2 or so times before. Sorry for a real boring thread too:eek:

    not conduit as in electrical or plumbing. It might be electrical conduit with some odd non electric application connecter though.

    You should be able to feel the weight diff between steel and aluminum... Sounds like conduit to me... My dad uses that stuff for all kinds of stuff. Shelving, forms for canvas on the boat, hanging crap in the garage, etc...

    :frusty: when i left work there was a lot of stuff on the shelves , wasnt really able to remove a piece for inspection. surfed home depot on cunduit and connectors , came up blank so far. if its for conduit , its not a normal electrical connector for sure.
