    I'm pretty sure the Veyron generates downforce while at speed. Only the Mercedes CLR GTP car can fly...

    The CLR GTP, as with all the cars in the GTP class at Le Mans, ran a straight exhaust.

    The car flipped on the Mulsanne Straight because the Mercedes team focused on minimizing drag at the expense of downforce - they were doing everything they can to match the speed of this Toyota:
