What are these threaded studs behind the rear seat?

In preparation for installing sound-proofing and getting an aux battery installed behind the rear seats, I've removed the plastic storage bin panels along the back wall. There are 2 spot-welded tabs with threaded studs that are interfering with my planned layout and I'm just wondering if I can/should remove these tabs.

From some cursory research, it seems like these may be for mounting some of the components for the JBL sound package, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

I found this photo from someone else's build. I've drawn arrows to the two studs I'd like to remove.

I'm not sure what that box is, as far as I know the amp and sub for JBL are behind the rear passenger side. Like @whatstcp said, if the studs aren't in use, then you don't need them, so remove away.

that box is part of the electronics package, specifically the parking assist module.

    Awesome, thank you!

That makes me feel better about zapping those tabs out. I didn't want to proceed completely blind

My plan is to use a small cutting wheel to cut the tabs off flush with the back wall, unless anyone has good suggestions for removing the spot welds entirely.
