Weather finally cooperated this weekend. I still need to get some edging so I can mulch over the area. I know they don't look like much now, hopefully they do well and grow quickly.

What is it? Trees? Seems very close for spacing. Are you doing a privacy hedge?

Columnar apple trees, 4 trees 3 different varieties. I posted about them a couple pages back. The spacing is good, I followed the nursery's recommendations. They should get to be about 10' tall and look like this some day:

Nice. Simlar to what Apple barn does to their trees in Sevierville.
What varieties did you get? Fireblight is REALLY bad in GA, so a year ago I switched to Enterprise and Liberty dwarfs to fight it.

I just went with this collection from Stark Bros. Urban Pollinator Pack I don't really know a lot about apples. I just assumed these will do well because there are a lot of apple farms in New England. The local ones are growing mostly McIntosh I think.

    Some trees blooming.

Put in potatoes, yellow, red ,purple, just a dozen of plants. Once the new strawberry raised beds are built, will move the potato patch and do a potato spot twice a year (fall and spring), so we do not have to buy potatoes again.

Yesterday planted Cherokee purple tomatoes (make the best salsa and pasta sauce, very low acidity, huge flavor), yellow and purple cherry tomatoes, zucchinis, sugar baby watermelon, cantaloupe, stuffing and cooking/freezing bell peppers, pickling cukes, red onions, dill, cilantro. Need to plant carrots.
I do have some some peaches growing, so frost did not get all the flowers. Blackberries are blooming like crazy, pear and blueberries are loaded. Apples are blooming. Figs came back after the frost. Baby Brown Turkey died to the root, but it is coming back. Garlic is doing great! Planted it around the fruit trees to keep the borers away.

Still need to build 6 of 4'x10'x12" raised beds, 4 new blackberry trellises (each is 40ft long), plant chestnuts (burn off the spot for them in the woods and assorted ornamental (maple, cypress, crab apple, etc).

I built another 4x8 bed yesterday. I need to take a picture of the veggie beds later.

I started on the foundation for one. Put down the landscaping fabric and gravel for a foundation.

How do you like those corner blocks? Boss (wife) really likes the 4"x4" construction because she can sit down on the edge (bad back) while gardening. But blocks would make building beds faster and cheaper. Any problems with sides bowing out?
