If you wanna stick with a Sram product, I've been running the thicker Sram HS2 rotors with my Code RSCs and stock metallic pads. I've been really happy with their performance; no fade issues.

    MTX pads are superb.
Possibly a thicker rotor like @whitedlite mentioned.
    Sram HS2 are 2.0mm

Yes sir, its always fun even though its crowded. I believe the first time i raced the XC was 1993-1994. I grew up down there but didnt do much mountain biking after HS until recently. Have gone maybe a half dozen times over the years to spectate.

Yeeesss.... I see lots of Levos there. That's an expensive rear-ender lol. Sick setup man.

All advice given is on-point. I'd add that the Magura Storm rotors are kinda a hidden gem. They're 2.0mm, light, easy to bed in, and have an excellent pattern that rarely warbles or makes noise. Oh yeah, they'e 1/2 the price of others also.
The MTX pads are excellent. The reds for the front, golds for the rear. Especially for your scenario where fade was an issue. The gold are "made for ebikes" which simply means they resist fading better. I have a red/gold combo I'm running on Maguras right now, they've been great. Good luck getting the reds now though, they're sold out everywhere I looked. If anyone knows where to find em, post it up! I ended up getting some Galfer Pros to try instead of the red, we'll see how they get on.

    Stupid? :duh:

I'm sure it's going to be spectacular, but also spectacularly expensive.

Yeah, its a mashup of Levos/Hecklers/Shuttles. Think the homies driving where a little on edge when they had to make stops.

Going to have my older I9/Atomik wheelset up for sale soon. 148/110, with purple Hydras - Atomik rims are older and ill have to check ID, They might be as skinny as 25mm. Not sure on price yet, prob be pretty good for a Hydra/Carbon wheelset though.

Best pic I have at the moment.

It's going to be my guess $2,000 just so people will buy it or $2600. $1000 more than the 11-6

My hat is in the $2.5k - 3k camp.
With the 11.6 updated price being $1600, I would think the fork would see a comparable market percentage increase over other fork offerings.

@backcountryj @levie125 @whitedlite are you guys truly considering the Monte sano day with transition? I noticed they have a date error in the post but should still be Sunday.

Thanks for the feedback! I ended up ordering an hs2 rotor and mtx gold from pro bike supply. The hs2 was cheaper than Amazon. I also see some mtx red in stock on their site but doesn’t look like they have them for magura right now

Ok I’m tentatively going to plan to go as well, I need something to make me go ride and this seems like a good reason.

I don't care to demo, but I am planning on going.
10-4 is a lot of riding, what time are you guys planning on going?

Most importantly what time does @backcountryj plan on being there since he's the farthest out with time changes also.

Yeah I can’t ride that long haha. Will definitely have to do shuttles too, so I’ll have my truck setup for doing that. Monte Sano has actually strung along a pretty long downhill run across multiple trails now so should be able to do a couple laps.

I’m good for whatever time J is arriving.

Don’t plan around me. I’m very much 50/50 currently. 6hrs+ worth of drive time is a tough pill to swallow for a few hours of saddle time.
