    I'm happy to report a gas mileage increase.

    2023 TRD OR auto with 1.5/1.5" lift, Toyo AT 265/70r17 SL(39 lbs ea). I did the KDMax 9.0 at 2600 miles.

    I previously got pretty consistent 18.2 mpg calculated old school and the truck shows around 18.7 mpg before the tune. On my first tank of gas after KDMax I'm happy to report 19.1 calculated old school with the truck calculating 19.6 mpg. This was a mix of in town and hwy and very similar to my previous driving.

    Also, wife and I drove down to Savannah today and averaged 18.4 (18.3 calculated) on the interstate averaging 75mph. I'm very happy with that.

    I LOVE how the truck stayes locked into gear. I have the Fusion App and really paid attention to when the converter was locked into gear. Makes sense that the mileage would increase because the transmission is not slipping any due to shifting gears.

    Charlie came in with his Fiance's 2021-4Runner Pro. He had his own 2020 Pro tuned this last January. Charlie was so happy with the tunes improvements to his 2020. Everything from improved throttle response to improved power delivery and much improved shifting as well as MPG improvement. Prior to the tune his best highway MPG's were 16 after the tune he has jumped up to 19MPG's highway. So it was an easy choice getting his Fiance's 4Runner on 9.0. It was good seeing you again Charlie and nice meeting your Fiance! Enjoy the 9.0 :thumbsup:

    We have 04a51 as being 2wd and 04881 as 4wd??
    We have 04a51 supported, but not 04881.
    If 04a51 is 4wd, then we are good to go!

    Hmm. I have 04880/81 recorded as 4wd i4, 04870/71 as 2wd i4, and 04A50/51 recorded as 4wd V6, all for the 6MT

    Maybe my stuff is inaccurate, it's certainly possible, but I don't believe so as I go off of the text info from cuw files directly.

    Yes, an OBD code reader device should be able to definitively provide an answer

    No sweat, you're not doing anything wrong here, you have one truck to tune, I have many. It's simple due diligence.

    I usually leave gathering all the info to the day before, first to make sure I'm not doing any unnecessary homework only for the person to flake(it happens) but also, and most importantly, to have it all fresh in my mind.
    I got your folder all set up, hopefully the ECU ID is a match.

    The Manual 2015 4WD Tacoma today was 04A50. Alex updated it with a TSB to 04A51, then tuned it with the KDMax-Pro-9.0 file.
    So it was supported. Glad we checked it.
