How do you like the Cooper Rugged Trek tires? I am coming to the end of my Wildpeaks after 48000 miles and I'm considering getting another set of Wildpeaks but also spotted those Coopers.

I get normal on road driving and then light trails and fire roads every now and then. The Wildpeaks were pretty quiet for regular driving which was nice and They were great in the lower New England snow.

    Thanks

If noise is an issue, I would stick with the Wildpeaks, these are more noisy than most AT's out there. They have been fantastic in the snow and ice, then the recent mud and rock. I should have gotten the E Load rating, the SL is a bit soft, even though the weight rating is between a C and D rated tire.

"More noisy than most AT"... That sucks, there was a big hype about them being comfortablely quiet. I'm fine with some noise but the usual Duratrec sound is what I stay away from lol.

I've run Duratracs before, and these are not as loud as those, but they are definitely not as quiet as the more road worthy AT's like BFG, Wildpeaks and others. You really can't get a tire that's this knobby and be quiet, those two are polar opposites. You just won't get both, I just get used to the tires after a while and forget they make noise, and then I always have music playing so that helps as well, but I also don't commute in my truck, or drive it everyday, so it's mostly for trips specifically to go offroad, or to drive to somewhere to leave the pavement.

Here's the poke on my rig with 3" lift and -6mm offset. I did do CMC. Have never had an issue with rubbing. 285/70/17 Ridge Grapplers. Can't recommend FN Wheels enough. Dustin is awesome and super helpful.
