DB71FF7E-271E-407E-91C9-6BA57E556484.jpgI did want to add, it does lift the rear slightly. I personally like the raked look, everyone has always seemed so obsessed with level, but I just knew when you added a bunch of weight or a trailer the ass was going to sit too low.

I’ll report back if they settle in a bit

Haha, yes, I call them the product demo crew. Sadly that was Lola, the yellow lab’s last trip, August of 2022. She had just turned 13 and I’d had her since 7 weeks. I had to put her down about a month ago.

The panel has been a game changer, honestly. I ran a fridge on a single Odyssey PC1200, it’d take about 24 hours to kill the battery, every time I’d need a jump. I added a second PC1200. It’d take about 24 hours to run down the second battery so I’d force them to run together and then after 48 hours both batteries were low.

I’d end up having to break down (we stay stationary for several days most times and I hate breaking down the tent) and go drive around for 3 hours, and even with a high output alternator it wasn’t charging the batteries since we were usually wheeling or running fire roads so RPM’s were pretty low.

Added the panel, every night when we went to bed both batteries were topped off at 13.6v and I never had to link them, just used the second batt.

You might be just fine with them mounted flat/stationary, and I don’t know what loads you have, probably just gotta stay in the sun. That can be good and bad though because as soon as the fridge is in the sun it has to run harder. Making the panel removable just gives you more options, since finding shade vs sun may not mean you can find a reasonably level spot.

A couple of dozen dolphins and whales have beached themselves and died on the east coast since they started surveying the sea floor to install wind farms. But “it’s not the sonar” they’re using to survey. You might see one or two a year in NJ. They’ve had over a dozen in the past two months. Again, “it’s not the survey” that’s killing them.

Complete bs. If they were surveying for oil drilling rigs this would have been stopped. And rightfully so, but F the whales it’s wind power.

The panel will help supplement my BLUETTI EB3A. We typically only camp for a weekend and have little power consumption loads. Mostly phones, tablet, GoPro and some fans. We don’t have a fridge (yet). Last summer the BLUETTI was able to last us Friday to Sunday but come Sunday, we about had no battery left. Hoping this will get us a little more piece of mind. Eventually I’d like to get another to move around for mobility and keep this one on the roof. We’ll see this summer how it goes and make adjustments accordingly.

again, thanks for the reply. Much appreciated
