Ok, so thinking of spoiling myself and going on a trip in the fall. As in England. Would be better to arrive there in the morning after a long flight and go do stuff while you wait for your room. Or fly in later, get to your room first and then start fresh the next day.

I just did....

 

Flight would arrive by about 2:30 in the afternoon local time. So hotel, freshen up, dinner and more sleeps....

When I travel, I always go early. I haven’t thought of doing the opposite, but it seems like it’d be better for your sleep schedule. If you don’t mind losing travel days, this might work out well. Get there, get a good nights sleep, and hit her hard the next day. I don’t like feeling like a zombie when I travel and that usually ends up happening.

 

Do you sleep on planes? The jet lag will get ya!

 

I'm more concerned about being tired and driving in a foreign country on the wrong bloody side of the road....

 

When I went to Nepal, the jet lag wasn't too bad at all. But give me an hour time change during DST, then I'm a little screwed.

 

I sleep...who wants to be awake when it crashes?
