Nice! Im looking for a used sequoia. Mainly to make into a comfy-ish travel, gear hauler for camping, national parks and local road trips.

I miss the days when you threw whatever camping gear you had in whatever vehicle you drove and you just went car camping like a normal person.

But you can't make millions from normal people. Oldest trick in the book- create a market people didn't even know they needed and shove it down their throats like they do.

The world of Overlanding; Capitalism at it's finest. Let me get my GPS navigation system, watch YouTube videos, put a group of a dozen vehicles together and go some where that has existed for over a hundred years, thousands of people have been and call it EXPLORING. Oh yeh, I have to bring my refrigerator, blender, diesel heater, toilet, shower and the kitchen sink.

    Fucking Floridans.

Figured Virginia gets colder in the winter...but could be off base here.

I'm still a pretty basic camper but I'm sort of thinking of getting a fridge. Getting lazy in my old age.

Not gonna lie, as a supremely northern European type descendant, I'll take the cold and snow over the heat at 5200' where I live any day. I've got lots of clothes, but I can only get so naked before I'm turned into a broiled chicken.

We hit 72 here about a week ago for a single day (before it snowed again) and I was sitting out in the sun thinking "god this shit sucks"

Once 110 rolls around for a week in August, I consider selling everything and moving to the arctic.
