My truck is now on the freight status. Dealer says the current estimate pickup date is 4/27.

Considering delays I've been seeing around, I'd say I'm pretty lucky with the quick delivery.

This is in Texas. It went to Houston VPC via rail, then took about a week or so at the VPC, then it is now on the way to the dealer via truck. No vessel ride, which I presume is the cause of all the delays.

 

Congrats! Mine is heading via railway as we speak somewhere in Mexico. Final destination is Colorado. I did get a notification on my Toyota App that the doors were unlocked this morning. Maybe the train finally hit Laredo.

The day has finally come! The dealership emailed me this morning and said the truck arrived last night and will be ready to pick up in a couple hours! This was a 1/23/23 build that I reserved mid March. I've been getting unlock notifications all week. It was still in freight status on the toyota tracker when they emailed me, but just checked again and it now says ground status.

 

Anyone remember how long it takes from ship leaving Veracruz to truck at the dealer? Salvia Ace left today, last time it took 7 days to get to Newark (with a stop in FL)

 

My guess is another 3 weeks all said and done maybe till it’s in my hands.

 

Mine arrived in Newark on 4/7, but as far as I know, it still hasn't made it onto a truck. The current estimated dealer arrival is 4/23-5/4 (via Toyota-Tracker). This is the 3rd time the date got pushed back since arriving at port, but it aligns with my dealers original estimated timeline.

I love foresters, my first car was an 05 base model that I wished was an XT. Had a Saabaru after that and now my hatch. Old subarus just rot away up here in New England unfortunately. The tacoma will take over the 20k/year commute and the wrx will be the weekend toy
