I sort of want a nicer car or wagon for long trips where I won't be going off the pavement. AC, less wind resistance (40 mph gusts are painful in my 99), better fuel economy. My 04 Tacoma doesn't need to be racking up useless all highway mileage when it's back up anyway.

But everything is $10K+ even with some terrible body damage and cosmetic issues. RHD stuff sounds like a pain considering I drive on a military base every day.

 

Cressidas are USDM so no RHD. An older Maxima is still a good buy though too.

 

Ah most Cressidas I see around here are imported newer gens. I'd consider a Maxima but don't see them often. I prefer the boxier gens too.

I've been looking at LS400s and SC300/SC400s but they're all The reality is I should've bought my friend's ~97 Acura Integra GS sedan or my college roommate's Integra GS-R liftback. 2019 and they both sold for cheap.

there was a guy on the big island, had a 4 door red 1st gen, that had a stretched frame and long bed, turbo charged and supercharged, I think running some piggy back, idk what happened to it. But there is a dude twin charging a 3.4 in the build threads no ?

 

@Jon64l was for a while but he went back to just a turbo. I don't know of anyone else doing it on here

 

tuning a twin charged setup without a standalone ECU has got to be impossible lol

 

SANDPATROL was doing it forever with some sort of ghetto fueling device like a 7th or something but even he gave up and tossed a Haltech Elite 2500 in a couple years ago. I think Jon has always used a FIC from what I understand. Boost comes in so fast twin charged I don't know how piggybacks can compensate fast enough but it must work to some degree, neither of those two melted a piston at least.

Oh @treyus30 is twin turbo yeah, little different though.

 

im retarded I re read your initial response. I think the dude on the big island ended up yanking out the supercharger and just sold it turbo'd.
