So...I got my Taco (2011 Silver PreRunner SR5 Access Cab) just over a month ago. In the past month I have spent more time on this site drooling over everybody's builds than in my truck.

One of the first mods I planned to do was a satoshi grill. I went out and bought all of the materials to do the mod and paint match. I planned to do it this weekend since my wife and kids are out of town.

I get home tonight and go to remove my grill to get started and realize that the 2011 is totally different from the previous 5 years. I do not want to mess with cutting out that honeycomb.

My wife always give me a hard time for being totally unobservant. Clearly she is justified.

So that is my story. Anybody want to trade grills? Color doesn't really matter since I plan to paint match. Only caveat is I'd need to trade tomorrow sometime in the Austin area.

Fortunately/Unfortunately, I was not patient enough.

I found the cheap taco grilles on partsgeek.com. When I searched on here to find more info, it seemed like a lot of people got them and were fairly happy with them. I decided that it would be a good idea to get a cheap grille to do the mod and save my nice grill in case I screw up or want to go back to stock. So, I bought one about 15 minutes before your PM showed up. Sorry.

I love the wheels/tires. They look great and ride wonderfully. Thanks again.

Based on all the info on TW, I really thought the 265/70/17 would fit better though. I went ahead and ordered the 5100s and an add-a-leaf. The AAL showed up today and the bilsteins should get here Monday. I'm looking forward to the installation.

Jeez...I'm gonna end up doing all the mods on my list in the first month and a half. I'll have to start looking for some others.

Did you just buy the unpainted 2010 grill? I am about to order one, but I was thinking about getting the one thats painted black and working on that one. Then I can get rid of the 2011 one...yuck

Yes, I got the unpainted one.

I haven't started to work on it yet, but I did check fitment. It seems like it should be fine.
