    Not everyone…

Seating position fits me about perfect. The Trooper we had, felt like I was sitting on a stool, legs would ache on longer drives.

We don’t have any spawn, could give two shits about rear seat legroom. However they do need to offer rear seat delete on models other than the base SR trim. Wanted that, but didn’t want the 4 banger that goes along with the utility package.

If they're using the same frame dimensions as the Tundra you'll be able to swim in the new Tacoma interior.

New Tundra interior felt tighter than previous gens. Liked it though…didn’t feel lost in it. My wife and I test drove a 2nd Gen Tundra, she is real petite, we were like “hello hello hello over over over there there there.”

I hear you. I like the Tacoma's current seating position too, car-like and it affords much better belly clearance than the 4Runner, Wrangler, Bronco, etc. (Look up the Tacoma's breakover angle vs. a 2-door Wrangler)

Hmmm, is the 4th Gen going unibody? Looks like the fake separation line like on the Ridgeline..... :stirthepot:

I like that it is car like, main reason I started buying Toyotas 30 years ago…refreshing jumping in my ‘85 4Runner from being bounced around on earth moving equipment all day. Quit construction but stuck with Toyotas.

As you said, great for wheeling too, though don’t that much anymore. Dirt bikes fill that need.

Probably did this for aero. 3rd gen had a little rubber strip between the cab and the bed. With a boxed frame they could actually do an Avalanche-style body if they chose to.

I'm thinking this will be the largest interior of any Tacoma.

I noticed that too - the gap is so much smaller. I take that as a sign of how much more rigid the frame is and how little flex there will be between the bed and cab compared to current gen

Looks like there is some adjustability.

Dealers know just as much as us, aka, except for the pictures, they don't know jack shit other than to start taking deposits and stir up some market speculation to up the hype.

The only people that actually know a bit more are the press, they get advanced notice on the next announcement, whether it's a teaser or the full release. They are notified of an embargo so they can begin preparing news articles for their own outlet.

You can see it with TFL with the first teaser. As you'll see on the top right of the laptop, the video was filmed on Monday, yet he already had the press image in hand a day before the teaser was released.

I am aware. But thanks. Just saying what I was told. And sometimes dealers do get info ahead of press just look at the leaks we got for the tundra (dealer meeting and not press) and the timelines for model updates (also dealer meeting leak). You’re drinking the TW kool aid if you don’t think the trail hunter will be close to that price point. Already have a $50k+ pro and the new Canyon AT4X Edition 1 will run you $66k.

I agree. The teaser picture that showed the silhouette of the entire truck, and some of the camo cover pictures make it look like it has less clearance around the fenders and body panels. When I looked at them the stance looked similar to the Nissan Frontier. I guess time will tell.
