I like pistachio...I'm starting to worry about you

 

As im 41, i get it now. seeing the dads wear the dorky clothes or whatever you want to judge the old guys on. The older i get, the less i give a crap what people think (though ive been like that for most my adult life), and i do what makes me happy and comfortable.
The defender michelins, its probably the best all around tire out there and use them all the time. Nope, doesnt look as cool as some aggressive AT's, but i get a great ride, traction, even plowed with them, and wear wonderfully. Cost, yeah more than some but hard to argue their value.

 

You know those Progressive Insurance ads about turning into your parents? They're true. My son is about your age and obsesses about things like his lawn, food shopping, etc...

 

I'm 30 now.





I still go for the fun flavors with sweets but don't go for sweets much.

I found a new favorite cookie. Called Filipinos, they're Spanish I think. They're so good because it's a subtle sweet not a kick in the pants sugar loaded sweet. Me gusta.

 

My wife was very excited I left all my graphic tees at home for vacation. I finally own shorts that are at or above my knees. Very few people will get my Beets Killer Tofu ‘95 tour shirt anyways.

Trying to intertwine adulting, being sorta relevant in personal style and whatnot. That being said I just said eff it and cranked all the gains on my truck amp to thump and bought and underglow kit for the Vette…so.

 

I wear jeans with either sweaters or button down plaid shirts for work most of the time. Casual button downs are easy to find, but they are mostly weird prints or very bright solid colors. I think it's because simple large print plaid in understated colors is an old man preference.

My style is very much the type of stuff carried at places like L.L. Bean, Duluth, or Orvis. Problem is, I'm a 150 lb 5'9" guy and those brands are sized generously so most of it is just too baggy. Once in a while, they'll have a good shirt in a slim fit and that works.

Cumby's has their own ice cream sold by the pint - I think in an attempt to compete with Stewarts. They have a banana one with peanut butter swirl and it's fantastic. Either that or Ben and Jerry's S'mores is my favorite. But, pistachio is one I commonly buy when I want something simpler.

 

I like Pistachio also. Check out Grass Roots Ice cream in Granby Ct, get yourself some good home made fresh ice cream.

 

Good to known @CTSpruceMica knows my next ice cream adventure is the little Debbie ones from Walmart.

There's a few ice cream shops in town too. Kids sizes are stupid amounts of ice cream.

 

People that ruin perfectly good ice cream with nuts make me sad. I lump you in with those that need to ruin brownies with them too.

I respect the choice and allow it. I don't enjoy it but I understand. Fudge as well. Pistachios in pistachio ice cream could make sense.

It's unlike pineapple on pizza. That I can't respect.

 

One of my favorites is pepperoni, pineapple and jalapeños.

 

I only like pineapple on pizza if it's a cold slice, hot fruit is not a texture I enjoy lol

 

Man these control arms are kicking my ass. Lol. I've managed to screw up the threads on 2 different bolts. Back to the parts store tomorrow for the lower strut bolt.
I ordered new lower control arm bolts before i started, should have ordered every bolt. Lol

 

I like hot pineapple. Grill it up with a dash of cinnamon - delicious.

Pineapple and cheese don't mix.

I'll eat hot apples, pears, blueberries, pineapple, banana. Not all on pizza but hot, yes.

To each their own... some people want extra mayo like it's an ingredient not a condiment.

Wrong is cheese and fish yet McDonald's sells a shit ton of filet o fish sandwiches

I have quite a few of such tees I'm not permitted to wear when we go anywhere, usually because they have the F word or a sexually suggestive picture..or in the case of one Rob Zombie shirt, both.

When I was in the office it was collared shirt, pants, casual shoes. Friday was T shirt or Hawaiian style (or maybe a dart shirt), jeans, Vans.

Usually jeans and T shirt or jean shorts/Jimmy'z shorts otherwise. I refuse to adult in that department unless the occasion requires.

 

The uppers are so much easier than the lowers
