Funny, just saw your FB post on it and replied there. Looks skookum to me as long as it doesn't roll backwards on you!

I have a milk crate on the rack on my Grom.

1000% the best mod done to the bike and it makes it the most useful bike in the lot on the regular. 90 % of my round town errands are done on it cus of the milk crate.

X-1 was a really fun bike to ride. What kind of money were they asking? That cheesy air cleaner set up isn't helping that bike at all performance wise. Can see a ding in the exhaust header so it at least fell over on one occasion. Belt guard and rear fender each look like they've been cut back some. Like the color combo though.Had a friend who used to drag race on of those.

Met up with some dudes for a dusk/night ride.

Also I thought I would hate the amber running lights of the 360° wrap turn signals but dang it looks cool at night. Feel so much safer with signals and a mirror again.

Too much for what was needed / was imperfect. It was $3,600, which if it was absolutely perfect I still would have been overpaying. But it was exactly what I wanted so I would have been alright with that.

There was a laundry list of things it needed though. Front rotor was warped, rear brakes went out on the test ride, chrome on the valve covers were peeling, rear cylinder head gasket was weeping, there was a wicked dead spot between 3200-3600, neutral switch didn't work... I loved it, but not enough to open that can of worms

And this is why I buy new vehicles. I always get the lemons when I buy used, but they are patched up enough I don't find out for a few months.

The worst part of this one was that I had a friend of mine who was local to it check it over so it would save me the 4 1/2 hour round trip. He said the thing was mint.

I appreciate his favor, but he must have had some seriously rose colored glasses on if that bike was mint. I knew I didn't want it within 10 seconds of being there

UGH. I need to get out on a LEGIT ride on my super tenere again, the 1200mi ride home from oregon via the coast to socal was amazing.

I DID however ride it to work today, does that count?

You're doing better than I am! Kicking my own ass for not riding it the day I brought it home, because every day since has been crap weather with low temps or snow.

I rode today too. High is 88. Bike just sits pretty in the parking lot. But tomorrow should be going exploring in WV.

I have a few murals planned and stored in my GPS for my ride out tomorrow for the cheese steak meet. I think 31 on my list for out and back? Got an address for that one? I'm not proud, I take charity.....

Nice hope you have a good ride! Here’s the address, it’s right next to a storage place and you cross a cool little bridge to get to it.

    Hi all,

Been busy with bike, redid garage, kids birthday. Hit CMP track last week. What a sh*t show.I went into the grass 3 times on 2nd round. I did come back and did fine next few, but did it in 4th gear all the way. At least I learned my bike is fast. In the straights I was catching up to bigger bikes, but the corners killed me.

Next one is June 3rd. Gonna swap my Bridgestones for Pirelli soon.
