A more accurate guessitmate is keep track of the miles traveled per FILL UP and gallons used. Then do the math and you will get your REAL mpg.
AND of course for most daily driving conditions vary from day to day.

I’m glad I found this thread. I just got a 2013 SR5 4X4 with the 4.0L. First fill up with miles travelled. It was very well maintained, and I drive gently, mostly rural about 45-50 mph. Plus most of my driving is at an altitude between 5000 and 7300 feet. When I did the math I came up with 24 mpg. The vehicle is bone stock with a cap. Is it possible this number is good?

Well my previous truck, a 2006 Nissan Frontier with multiple organ failure couldn’t do it if it drove out the back of a C-130. We’ll see after the second tankful.

Also as a former Nissan guy, with load range E 33s and heavy ass procomp wheels, I got lucky with 15ish highway lol.
