    Reports from the front:

    - Redbreast Cask Strength is excellent, out of this world Irish whiskey.

    - Tullamore Dew 12 is underwhelming for the age statement but not the price.

    - Port Charlotte 10 year single malt is fantastic.

    - Upon finishing the bottle, my conclusion is the Johnnie Walker Blue isn't worth the dough. Get Green Label or the 18 year instead.

    - Michter's Single Barrel Rye (80 Proof) isn't worth it. The Barrel Proof is though.

    - Smoke Wagon Uncut Unfiltered is still the gold stick for sourced bourbon.

    - Rare Breed Rye is a wolf in sheep's clothing just like Rare Breed Bourbon.

    - WT101 Rye is a < $25 champion every bit as much as the bourbon.

    - Knob Creek 12 is better than it has a right to be for the age statement and the price.

    - I am almost out of Mellow Corn.

    End dispatch.

I've got a shit ton of glassware, but if y'all get stuck around 20 I'll help push us over the edge.

I wasn't planning on drinking tonight but I got electrical set up in the camper tonight. Celebration pour!

How is that bottle? I can get this in one of the shops here in town, but $65 I think so not sure about spending the coin on it. Not that I don’t buy bottles of tat amount, however, just haven’t heard much about it.

Sourced 15 year old barrel proof whiskey, this one is from 2019, rumored to be Heaven Hill (my favorite US distillery), but I'm pretty sure they've sourced from several other places since then.

65 bucks I'd buy it all day. I think this one was 80 back then before I moved. I really dig it, but then again I like just about everything.

I think the Chivas 18 yr is a lot better deal than the Blue and to me, just as good. Agree about the Green, it's excellent.
