Working up on 400k. At 394.6k now. Last truck was an '83 22R engine longbed 2 wheel drive. Body gave out sometime after 400k, but the odometer stopped spinning around then. Nice to see other long mileage owners, I'm a new member....

Dumb question, but how do you get your bikes on those mounts? Are they light enough to get one wheel up at a time?

Step one is eat the burritos (the bag on the hood). My brother and I can lift them up, but that sucks. If you look closely the roof racks, you'll see a moto ramp. We bought a trailer soon after this trip; you can't see much of anything on the right hand side while driving. The tank and bars are too high. If there's a dirtbike equivalent of kook of the day, we would have been on it for sure.

I was kind of hoping you were going to tell me you just deadlift the whole bike, but your approach seems much more reasonable.

Finally a member of the club! I don’t drive the truck daily and most of my miles are highway miles - but after 1,053 days of ownership and 12,465 miles, I hit 200k miles today at 7:57a this morning!

Awesome! Here's to 200k more...my truck looks just like yours, but it's a 2000. I'll try to post a pic soon. I expect to turn 400k by early summer, after a couple of desert trips. It's at 394.6k now. I'll definitely post then.

Nice pics! Here's mine on a recent desert trip. We turned 396.5k on the trip, so 3.5k left to 400,000. I'll post some pics when it goes over. It's pretty much all stock. I might be looking at a new one at some point because we might want to get a trailer and I'm worried about over taxing it in it's older days. But I will be doing a timing belt plus package soon at any rate. I also need to check out the front end after hitting some big bumps on 4wd roads. (I don't push it hard though).

Bought this one in Albuquerque with 235K on the clock and drove it home to Georgia. Not a single hiccup.
