Crazy how head clearing a ride on a moto can be. Those that have never ridden simply wouldn't understand

Im getting ready!

Just need a non rain weekend to go test my gear. Im a minimalist when camping in the truck or the bike.

 

It arrived! Sleeves are a little long, but comfortable as heck.

 

I tried the crate out on the Navi! It didn't fall even with cargo in it, but since the grab bar was a little too thin for the clamps it kept rotating forward and hitting me in the back.



It is a perfect fit for my tank bag, though, and I don't have to keep messing with the cargo net anymore:



I came home and put some fabric tape around the grab bar to make it thicker for the clamps and moved the crate backwards and it feels very solid now:

 

Ya it’s been shitty since last night…. Really hate feelings and relationship bs so took the day off got the sprocket on and just left and it helped a lot so now I know what I gotta say to figure out what’s going on

and agreed it’s a great way to a clear a head and just feel alone and go

 

Be careful not strapping stuff down in it. I had Chinese food flip completely upside down and my cooler bounce all the way out and hit me on my back.

 

Maybe instead of fabric tape get a section of old inner tube?

 

Dang, that's a great idea! I'll try that in the future if this doesn't work out, though this seems very sturdy as of right now.

 

I am looking hard at the 701? What are the differences now between that and the 690r? Dogbone vs PDS…I love those bikes.

Because it's funny to watch people panic thinking you are a cop and change their driving. Same reason people like Crown Vic's and white Explorers with black grilles.

Too many 2-lane highways around here to pretend you're a cop with a white explorer, you'd be going 5 under everywhere with the people slowing down in front of you haha
