    @Speedytech7 A friend of mines dad had (actually still has) an E31 when we were kids. I always thought it was so ugly. Wasn't until I was older that I knew what it was...and I still think it's an uggo lol. See him around town in it to this day.

    The suburbans who moved in nearby have been bitching about the noise for an eternity. I image it wont be more than a few years before it becomes luxury apartments and another Walmart

    That's so lame. Reminds me of Laguna Seca. People know the track is there, love next door, then complain that there's a race track there. So dumb. Drag strips in particular are the worst thing to close as they are more likely to keep the racing off the street. So dumb. At least here, we don't have neighbors nearby. They do midnight drags for example in the summer. I hate people. Same type of folks that buy a house on a golf course and then complain when your ball ends up in their yard ...

    tire shop quoted be $80 bucks a piece to mount tubes in the creepies for the crawler. It's not terrible. I should probably consider a set of tires that aren't old enough to have a driver's license though lol

    Good point! My yokies were cheap when I bought them but prices now, I should be able to get enough to pay for the new rubber. Sadly the AMG tires are worthless at this point...

    @Speedytech7 you glorious bastard, you!!!20230422_153218.jpg
    Found what you were talking about. I was like 70 degrees out from center lulz. I was able to separate the ragjoint, push the upper high enough to pull the lower off the rack itself. Spin the rack back to center, and reinstall everything with minimal swearing. I now have a straight steering wheel with fairly even stick out on my OTEs.

    Whenever you're this side of the mountains, I owe you a beer

    Just witnessed the most casual loading of a McLaren. Dude in flip-flops, board shorts and a cig hangin out his mouth directing the loading lol.
    In the rain no less. God that thing sounded good.

    I like how all the things they could have possibly picked to load it onto it's the old 6,000 lb U-Haul trailer hooked to an Audi that ever since the moment it rolled off the production line has been waiting for an excuse to shit its transmission all over the road.
