Wife and I went to get some coffee on the Versys.

 

Only benefit I could see is that when you finally do get a chance to pass them after 5min of waiting for an opportunity, the car you are passing won't suddenly decide to start speeding up to match you.

 

Well, damn. With him not really being super into it or hating it I didn't expect it to rank as well as it did at the end, especially when you ran down the historical lists. I like the bike and cannot wait, but I also was after a "beginner" bike so I think it'll fit the bill.

Got a chance to try the 14t sprocket on the Grom today. Gained a whopping like 1 or 2 mph but officially have hit 60mph with it haha



Previous high was 59, but that was drafting a school bus haha

That looks pretty good! I might have to pick one up, great price compared to other options and you can keep factory plate light and turn signals. (I do have aftermarket rear signals waiting to go on, but yeah, haven't yet)

 

Such a big improvement. Still haven’t hit the rev limiter yet.

 

Top speed improvement is laughable for sure, but getting up to speed is muuuuuch better. And you gotta think going down a tooth and not losing any top speed is kind of backasswords, plus with the thicker chain I added in more rotating mass.

 

I can attest. My work decided to put an LED light bar on the roof of my work vehicle, because I sometimes drive off-road. The lights are amber LEDs, but the housing is clear. When I drive of the interstate, people in front of me slow down all the frickin' time.

Hubs electra is a police edition, they decommed it and removed the lights and sirens before he picked it up (damn). They came with comfier seat, more bash guards, extra engine cooling, heated grips, and some other crap I cant think of. He didnt buy it because hes a cop fanboy, he got it for the extra options they come with.
