tried both methods, anywhere from 10 second slow count to 15 second slow count. Probably 20 times total.

After I hold down the tripmeter button, the ODO never changes.

I'll try again. Door definetly did all my tries with door shut.

Same here tried a gazillion times with no luck. 2011 DC TRD Sport. I wonder if having the JBL/Bluetooth option changes anything? To all you guys out there not having any luck with this...Do you have the JBL/Bluethooth option?

Worked for me on my '11 on the second or third try. Ah, silence.

Now, if I could only get the key fob chirps to turn off ...

I don't think so mine is a 2011 manual and worked first try. Fantastic so now when i'm in the woods or on forest roads I won't have to hear that stupid thing. Thanks for the write up.

I have a '11 TX Pro with the JBL/Bluetooth - got it to work first time, just followed the instructions to the T.

2011 DC, worked like a charm on the first try. OUTSTANDING!!!!! The silence speaks volumes. Great Post. Dealer had no idea what I was talking about when I asked them to do it when they did my TSB rear springs. "the scantool didn't come up with any options for the seatbelt chime" is all they could tell me. Who needs dealers when we have TW.
