    Installed the PowerTray / SwitchPro combo. Happy with the results. Cleaned up a ton of wiring. Amps running to the positive Blue Sea bus bar. Wired in ditch lights and ditch/light bar back lighting to make sure everything functioned. Time for a(nother) beer.

    Still all in my head… but I’m keeping the chrome bumper!
    I take 3M Velcro with the peel off backing, then stick the tough side on the latch, works great because then I could use my iron on patches. Your patches look rad by the way.

    Could you clarify that 10% off code? I just tried it but couldn’t get it to work.

    Removed my V1 Baja Designs SAE fog lights so that I can send them in to be upgraded.
    I reinstalled the stock fogs for now.

    No it’s just using a compound and a buffer. Polish til there’s no swirls or scratches etc.

    Then you’re almost ready for ceramic. I’m guessing most people skip this part if their vehicle is somewhat new but it makes for the best finish when you apply ceramic.

    Yeah, i skipped it too after claybar, but i still see swirl marks and it bothers me. So its a polishing step, very necessary. My ceramic doesn't seem to be lasting much longer than a few months :(

    I have used a few diff kinds. I’m really liking hyper clean DOS. Plus afterwards I only wash with “Snow” soap also by hyper clean and I use their “Bug” stuff to get rid of dead bugs on the front. Just spray, let it dwell then wash off.

    I also de-iron the paint and use a prep spray. I like malco for those steps.

    I’m happy with this stuff so far - it’s lasted a long time on one of my other cars.

    Be WARNED the fallout spray smells like dirty a$$

    let me find a pic.

    After your first post with your cleaned/corrected/ceramic coated I thought, "I want to do that to mine."
    After the extra posts I thought, "That's a lot of work and I don't think so anymore."
    Especially for a Colorado mountain truck that spends 2 seasons covered in winter road muck, 1 season covered in pine pollen, and 1 season covered in dust from trails.

    For all dog owners, these door covers from Canvasback are awesome. They take about three weeks to get, but they are well worth the wait. Plus, they are made in the USA! :thumbsup:
