I think the entire truck is pretty hideous. Toyota tried too hard. I’ll guess they will need a refresh in a couple years to try and sell more units.

Like someone said above, it did grow on me. I see them around down every so often and think "you know, that's not too bad at all". The modern styling was desperately needed.

    Lol! Probably.

Like them better when the styling was more under the radar and subdued.

Toyota is trying too hard now.

Much preferred the 1st Gen Tundra, interior was awful on those, looked like a ford Taurus. Guess the 3G Taco is the angular version of that, grill is still too big for my liking. Judging by the 4G renderings, the grill is going to be smaller…we can only hope. Lol!

I agree with you about the 3rd gen even though I have one. I like smaller grilles. The 3rd gen pushes it to the edge but the Tundras embarrassing. No matter how many times I see one in person it doesn’t grow on me. The 1st and 2nd gen Tundras got it right.

The grill is one of the few things I hate about my 3G Taco. Thought the 2nd Gen Tundra “cod piece” grill was awful, then Toyota went all “hold my beer” for the 3G Tundy.

Was at the dealer the other day looking at the Tundras, salesman came up and started chatting, said to him…is it a contest nowadays who can make the ugliest truck!? Good gawd that thing is hideous! The look on his face was priceless. Toyota is loosing me on the looks department. Not sure if their reliability is going to hold up either going too complicated with their drivetrains.

At least Ford has toned them down a bit. F-Series are the best looking trucks on the market right now.

I agree with you 100 percent on everything. It seems like Toyota is going in a completely different direction with the styling and it’s just bad. I can’t wait to see the new Taco though, and I’m still optimistic. The renderings look solid. The salesman who sold me mine told me he got his 2.5 gen Tundra because the new one looked bad. You gotta appreciate honesty.
