not really sure what people expect when they send offers for less than half the asking price

 

I can say the more houses built in that area, the more there has been a steady rise in noise complaints called in... My response is to tell the people "That race track has been there longer than you and it's not their fault you failed to research the area before you bought/moved"

Also heard some rumors floating around at work that Amazon bought out the property to build a distribution center

 

I kinda wonder if it’ll end up being a superfund site, has to be a whole lot of nastiness in that soil by now.

 

Finally removed the 5% limo tint the previous Broheim owner put on the front (and rear) windows. Driving at night and/or in a storm was fucking brutal. I hate front tinted windows. Why I waited four years? No idea.

 

That said…anyone with a 1st gen have a link to a good side window shade?

 

I just custom cut a roll of reflectix to fit my side windows.

I like the idea of reflectix. If I can cut it so that it holds itself in place, that'd be great.

Can you fold it in half easily/regularly? I'm thinking for storing in the map pocket of the seat backs.

 

Yep, just cut it a bit large and practice installing a few times and trimming where needed. I usually keep them full size and put them vertical in the driver seat back pocket and then the stiff windshield covercraft one holds them up.

my 2cents - i purchased weathertech window shades for my t4r. They are pricey but fit perfect and have an interior black side so you can use lights inside the car without blinding yourself.

looks like they have full vehicle kits for tacos too

Limited offerings for first gens. No side shades.

But there’s a large Weathertech manufacturing facility near me with a retail shop in front.

I need to stop by and get their floor liner cleaner/conditioner kit. I’ll ask them about 1st gen products then get angry about the lack of them.
