I was driving this morning came to a stop light where the road had a slight incline and I was waiting for the green light when I noticed the truck seemed to be slipping backwards? I released the brake and stepped on it again but I kinda didnt feel it "catch" Luckily there wasnt any car behind me and when I pressed gas I seemed to have some slight loss in traction (did the spinning tire noises) for like 5 seconds and went up. Truck didnt feel any different. Wondering if this has happened to others before? Ive stopped on steeper hills without issues so IDK maybe a one time thing? Anything worth checking out?

Are you in a Pro or OR with the electric brake booster?
If so, it’s the brakes preventing rollback. It works well, just alarming first time when you’re not expecting it.

Slight incline, foot on brake and slipping backwards? Not normal.

Was the surface wet or sandy? Tires in good shape?

Are you sure you it was slipping backwards? Was there someone beside you creeping forward?

I was quite shocked initially when it first happened to me on a steep incline, but I was assured the truck was doing its thing. All good...!

Tires in good shape, surface was dry/asphalt. I was next to someone who was already stopped but I dont think they were creeping forward. Ive had that happen before though
