Is in california, and he painted a piece in San Diego. Oceanside, to be exact.

Most of you know I am a HUGE graffiti fan and have been since i was 11. i can actually remember the day i started liking it. I never did it illegally but i LOVE the styles, and i love the secret lifestyle they have. Banksy is NO exemption. This guy is literally world famous. whether your a graff head like me or not he is pretty much a house-hold name in London. even europe.

No one knows who this guy is, he is like a friggen graffiti super hero. with his famous murals or Rats, or political paintings.

He is gracing us californians presence because his movie he made "exit through the gift shop" is up for an Oscar. So i guess he decided to paint one of his rats in Oceanside.
here is a news article of him painting literally miles from my house

    http://hypebeast.com/2011/02/banksy-in-oceanside/

Some people say its a fake. It might be. because there are lots of things that prove that.

here is some more work of his
    http://www.banksy.co.uk/outdoors/outusa/horizontal_1.htm

maybe this is me thinking out loud....but anyways...

    Hey Panda,

Do you know what shop in Oceanside Banksy painted?

I would love to see if the painting is still outside the taco shop. I know, a little late, but still interested! Thanks.

Have you seen the documentary he produced, "Exit Through The Gift Shop"? It's awesome, and i'm not even into that stuff.

    It's available via instant netflix

Graffitti is such a unique artform. Some is really cool, though some is just destruction, tagging

Well, he was either really dumb... or a genius, lol. But one thing is for sure, he exploited a lot of people.

I wonder if banksey is going to make an appearance on colbert..
