This morning on my way to work, my truck threw a P2121 code and googed it to see it was a throttle pedal sensor, which explains the limp mode. Came home after work, unplugged the pedal commander, plugged the harness back to pedal and voila, no more code and had throttle response.

Anyone else ever come across this issue using pedal commander?

⅝Well had to do a little landscaping and the roof rack worked just fine for those 20 footers

 

Doing some garage cleaning the other day found some 1/8” plate and decided to something useful with it. I have installed spindle reinforcement kit in the past for a couple of customers, and got motivated by @GHOST SHIP since he did the gussets recently and I said “what the hell! Let’s put something together”

Replaced rear differential fluid (2WD). Out: Mobil1

$28 75w-90 Synthetic Gear Lube - 1 Quart (Pack of 2)

75w-90 LS, In: same. Replaced std trans (5 spd) fluid. Out: RedLine MT-90, In: same.

 

Prepped the tilton setup. Going to pull the pickup in the shop now…

 

Changed the front diff fluid finally a year after I did the rear and t case. Drain plug was messed up thankfully this extractor worked out.

Yes sir, I had it happen twice after the PC warranty expired. This occurred a few years ago and hasn't happened since. In my experience and from reading other posts, turning the truck off and back on should remedy the issue. If it does happen again, try to limp it somewhere you can restart the truck or try to restart the truck if you notice the code after initial start. I wouldn't recommend going through a warranty replacement, it seems to be a fleeting issue.

 

Installed my intake manifold spacer. Still waiting for the ecu to learn it, but I noticed some subtle changes. Really appreciated the easy install. Next up is a new exhaust and the OTT tune.

Noob question here, but what is that?

 

It is to replace the stock style throw out bearing for the manual transmission. The stock one tends to squeak this fixes that issue.

 

Changed the engine oil and filter. OEM filter, Mobile 1 full synthetic extended mileage 5W30.

Didn’t spill a drop, level was right at the dip stick top dot after a three minute run and 15 minute settle.

Gotta celebrate even the small wins.
