My buddies white rs6 in the far back. I think they look amazing and the power was fun af!

I took this pic at Avants Wagonfest and we got all the Rs6 together haha

I don't understand the draw of almost every modern 4 door sedan, RS or otherwise. You could swap logos with other makers and I wouldn't care. You're right, it's like someones daughter or a mid-level management guy. I'm only in it for the wagons haha. Not everyones taste certainly, but something like a Sebring black crystal (dark blue metallic basically) RS6 with cognac interior is a pretty great thing imo. (also wouldn't say no to playing with a TT RS)

 

tbf im okay with it being a mediocre design fast family hauler. 6 digits worth it? probably not but that engine is 10/10 lol

 

I'm good with the somewhat tame design on the RS6. Also with ya, wouldn't drop six figures on one. Not that I have that kind of cash haha. Could go more mom wagon and order an Allroad and tune it and save a shitload of money and still be happy with what's basically a daily utility wagon. Which is why I'm ok with my Alltrack so far. (needs tuning and lowering though) Personally if I just want thrills I wouldn't be buying a wagon. Or probably anything with 4 doors.

I love those, I really want to K swap one one day. One of the only British cars I've ever thought of as more than just rubbish.

They're great aren't they? Every now and again I do a local CL search. That one is a bit rough, I don't know if I have the skills to bring it back, though he says the engine is running (not sure if that means driving)...its so cheap its almost tempting even if it sits while I tinker and learn/figure it out.

 

This screams "run" but the price says, "maybe you could restore it.'
Good thing you can't just order shit off Craigslist when you've had a drink.

Just hearing it start again brought back all the motivation to get it done. Sometimes you have to give yourself a little treat even if it's a little out of the order of the operations.

 

I gave up. Ones been at the shop for 3 weeks so who knows how dirty it is. The AMG needs fresh paint in a few spots so really, I don't even try. I will say that when clean, black cars look incredible. Sadly the AMG is officially scary in the rain with what are now, racing slicks. Its my mistake but when it was wet or snowy, the rear end felt super floaty. Should've checked the rears when I bought it, the fronts are like new.

 

Lamest turbo noises ever.

 

Says the guy with an archaic form of boost that wastes horsepower to make horsepower. The choo choo noises come next.

 

Couple weekends ago I woke up before the missus and went out to get us coffee. She didn't respond when I asked if she wanted her usual, so from the time I ordered to the pickup window I made this

So by the time she responded and I replied "too late" with only this photo... I had her temporarily questioning reality.

Her finally conclusion before i got home was I bought that monstrosity for myself and got her nothing
