Had my catalytic converter stolen this morning off of my 2013. They cut in into my transmission fluid line too. Anybody got any tips/ suggestions for replacing the line? Thanks!

Either buy / make a complete new line, or you can repair that with a couple of compression fittings. Regardless, it needs to be complete removed and cleaned...any chunks of metal that made their way into the line need to come out

Just look up the part number for the cut line, a parts diagram is what visually confirms your part. You will also need transmission fluid and the knowledge on how to make sure it’s at the proper level. You can’t just dump it in. It needs to be at the proper temperature to verify it’s filled correctly. This isn’t a job for the non experienced.

    Time for a cat shield.

The trans line you could get away with cutting out that section and getting some union fittings and put a replacement section in. Hell you could probably just pull that hard line, cut it straight, put a flare on both sides and get a properly sized rubber trans cooler hose and clamp it on there - its what they do up front, but def put some heat shielding in place

Sorry OP that sucks. What part of the country are you in? Can I wager a bet on a "soft on crime" near a metro area?

    Called it....

Fawk im sorry man. You can make your own cat shield pretty easy if you have access to a small welder and an angle grinder. If not im sure there is someone that can make something local or already sells a prefabbed setup. The worst thing would be to get it replaced then have it happen again.

Sorry to hear about that. I had both of mine stolen while staying overnight at hotel in Louisville, KY about 2 years ago. I was out of town and traveling home so it turned out to be a real headache trying to deal with the insurance company while being stuck on the road. It all turned out well but wouldn't wish that on anyone. I really need to get some type of cat protection still.

Sorry to hear about the theft - I don't have any knowledge to comment about the transmission line but I had the catalytic converter stolen off my 2005 Tacoma about a month ago. The repair shop ordered the Toyota OEM replacement and found out that there were none in stock in the entire US and the backorder could be a month or 6 months - no way to know. So I took it on myself and bought the direct replacement assembly from Magnaflow - pricey but on-sale and delivered in two days; it's a direct bolt on assembly with no welding - fully CARB certified.
