Eventually I'll just rivet in some snaps and make some canvas covers that can snap on.

    Anyone been to Yellowstone?

My fiance and I are eloping to Colorado, hired a couple who are photographer and officiant with a jeep, taking us up into the mountains to marry us and grab some stellar offroad/wedding photos. We plan to road trip and honeymoon to Yellowstone. Short solo trails/sights to see?

Old faithful and the trail around it is a must see. It's not a hike by any means, but it's just totally full of cool geysers and things. The falls are a great easy hike as well. Lamar Valley is the place to see Bison. I'm sure I'm leaving some neat stuff out, I haven't been since I was 15. The park is really accessible to most people; tons of short hikes and scenic spots to be had.
Some notes, traffic can get pretty backed up sometimes in the park, especially if there are animals on the side of the road. The park is packed with active wildlife at day and night. Bring the damn bear spray. Also, watch for bison shit when you get out of your tents in the morning, lol. They leave shit EVERYWHERE.

If you want to see anything, don’t go in august. Everyone is doing their end of summer vacations. Go in September or October and you should pretty much be able to go anywhere you want.

Stay in the park if possible. Allows you to see Lamar Valley at dawn and dusk when more wildlife is out. Staying out of the park means a good drive in and out each day. The park varies greatly in terrain, see as much as you can. Nothing up there is disappointing.

just a couple of things tbh
Hey all does anyone have a set of 5100s or 6112s for a 2nd gen tacoma laying around for a good price that are not shot? A buddy at work is needing some shocks front and rear and other work done so checking here first to see if anyone has some good used ones that are not clapped for a good price for em.

Also has anyone changed a power steering pump on a 4.0? His is going bad and his rack is leaking(might be able to use stop leak) and needs some other maintenance done as well. But the rest is easy tbh

the other thing is me and my buddy Patrick are thinking his brake booster is going bad (sr5 model) it feels like I’m pushing through a board on the pedal. plus it stops so poorly. It sounds like a booster and maybe glazed rotors but figured I’d ask anyone in here if they have any other ideas?

Overall a good truck just needs maintenance

Do NOT put stop leak ANYWHERE in that truck.

Do the brake fluid (properly, not one of those silly reverse bleeders) and rotors and pads. Grease everything that should be greased with the brake hardware. See how it feels. If it's still rough, then maybe look at the booster.

Power steering pump isn't too bad, if he's not afraid of metric wrenches. Slap a new serpentine belt on there while you're at it since it's coming off anyway.
