    What the fuck? The government shutting down? That sounds ridiculous...I was unaware that could happen. But I guess given the state of the world these days, anything can happen.

    The gov't is already broke....You don't develop a debt the size of the one we have without being broke. But the legal authorization for the gov't to continue spending money we don't have ends on the 17th.

    Many of the hotly debated items are military spending lines...Overbudget projects with limited return or application, but that is someone's pet project.


    And yup...the gov't can limit operations and shut most everything down. If there isn't money or a legal agreement...Close up and go home.

    You got me. I hope I get paid though. It's going to be tough to work hard knowing we're being screwed. Yeah we'll get back pay eventually but that doesn't make up for the extra money I JUST paid for school on top of tuition assistance and books and now nothing to replenish my account. This is a crappy situation. I say take the money MTV pays Mike the Situation and all the other....people on that show and give it to us! :D

    It's really simple. Stop giving free money/welfare to people that are lazy, stop giving benefits to people who aren't even legal citizens and than tax the living hell out of corporations that have manufacturing bases out of the country. Oh and every single tax payer dollar needs to be posted on the internet live for everyone to see. If money is used for something else than the people in charged need to be given a felony and jail time.

    The problem is " social correctness " you stop giving out money to lazy ass bums with 6 kids than you have all those bums whining and crying about it. I have a better idea, if you take welfare money your right to vote is temporarily "revoked" and have no privilege in having an opinion on our political system. If you dont contribute you have no right to pick who you want in office. All these bums are always picking and voting for people that only keeps feeding them free meals while everyone else is too damn busy working just to pay their mortgage.
