    IMG_2339.jpg Good morning!
Quick question. I have a 2012 Tacoma and I bought it used from some guy off of OfferUp. Well I just found out the radio can be Bluetooth setup but I want to know how can I erase all that guys stuff from off of it so I can connect my phone aswell as how do I do it because when I try to do it, it never works.
Thank you if you’re able to help me!

    - The attached photo is how my radio looks.

Is there an option to setup Bluetooth within the setup button at the bottom of your headunit? And it might not be Bluetooth ready, my folks have a 2012 and they had to buy and install a Bluetooth adapter, I believe they have the same headunit.

There is but the previous owner had so many phones connected to where it messed up when I tried connecting my phone. I’ve also tried deleting their phones but there’s still 1 that won’t disconnect.

Hmmm, there is no option to cancel/delete existing connections, or to connect a new device?

Yes I’ve tried doing that but there’s one that just stays and won’t delete. My phone states it’s connected to Bluetooth but when I play something I can’t hear anything

Try holding the power button down for a good 10 seconds. Turn it on and then press and hold.

Hopefully this helps. Copied and pasted.

    2012 – 2018 Models
    Soft Reset
    1. While ensuring your car engine is turned off, double-press the engine button to turn the car to ACC mode.
    2. Allow the multimedia screen to power on.
    3. For about 15 seconds, press and hold the PWR-VOL knob.
    4. At this point, the Toyota Entune should rest and resume normal functioning. This procedure automatically rests the stereo system of your Toyota Tacoma.
    Hard Reset
When the soft reset doesn’t work, you can try the following steps to perform a hard reset:

    1. While ensuring your car engine is turned off, double-press the engine button to turn the car to ACC mode.
    2. Navigate through the multimedia system to locate the Apps button.
    3. Press and hold the button until the diagnosis menu appears on the screen.
    4. Press and hold down the INIT button that appears on the multimedia screen.
    5. Press yes on the prompt message, which indicates that personal data is initialized.
    6. The stereo system of your Toyota Tacoma will reset and function as normal.

I think the soft reset option is your best bet, given you have an older model.
