I'm having a hard time deciding on these two set ups. I'm looking for an affordable lift to get 1-2 inches up front with a good ride ( mostly pavement, some mild off road use ). My main concern is ride quality since this is my daily driver. Going to a 265/70R17 with a near 0 offset and need a small lift.
My first choice is the Eibach stage 1. This comes WITH coils and claims to maintain a stock ride quality. I'd probably add the 1" block to the back as I like a small amount of rake.

Second is the 5100 route. From what I see the OE spring is re-used and obviously pre-loaded a bit more to add lift. Also considering a 1" rear block for a slight rake.

I also understand the two shocks are digressive vs progressive and am wondering how much of a difference in ride (if any) there will be .....again considering the 5100 will use stock coils.

FYI my truck is a Limited model so I need to take the OE spring rate into consideration, I'm pretty sure an OR spring is going to be a different rate than limited?

Any input is helpful and thank you in advance for helping me beat a dead horse.

Honestly, I would go with the Eibach stage 1 kit. The shock system valving itself is more designed for the daily driver, along with the system coming with a spring designed to work with that shock, you will naturally improve the ride quality over the Bilsteins by themselves.

Shoot me a DM if you want, I can help get you squared away no problem!

    I vote for eibach.

The bilstein are pretty firm and with reusing your spring….they will be even firmer.

The block in the rear is fine. I ran that before and it worked

Thanks Dave I will be in touch soon. Everyone is all over the place on this topic. While I am a big fan of bilstein I’m leary about preloading the OE spring to lift and creating a jittery ride.
