Good to know. Been using Never-Seize for years, it seems to work well. I rotate my own wheels/tires so I re-apply every rotation. My wheels come off nice and easy every time.

I've ordered a couple of sets from him. If everyone packed things like that there'd be no reason to worry about FedEx or UPS trashing our stuff.

I installed the Dorman hubs from Autozone on my 2nd gen a few years ago. I have about 60K miles on them now without any issues. Hopefully they last the rest of the life of the truck.

I just buy NSK bearings and get the new dust seals and orings and have a local shop press them for me. Now I have a 20ton press so I may try my hand at them once I bring my press to my house

I dont have access to a press so i figure itd be easier to get a pre pressed assembly to just bolt in. I was recommended the moog assembly outside of oem. I was hoping someone with oversized tires could weigh in in longevity.

Moog last time I bought bearings was from them and they were NSK bearings. I'm on 35s and have about 40k miles on them but I beat the bag out of the truck at times

Denso uses a special coating on the plugs to negate the need for anti-seize. I didn’t use any when I just did them.

The plugs are pretty deep in the 3.5L so spinning them in without using at least the extension. I didn’t bottom out by hand but you can typically get a decent enough feel for whether they’re spinning freely before I threw the torque wrench on them. I had a few that took a few more spins than I would have expected but I’m not terribly concerned. I likely just didn’t spin them down as far by hand.

I had shit luck with Dorman crap and will never use them again. I bought a Dorman carrier bearing, swapped it in, crapped out in a couple thousand miles. They warrantied it, sent me another, same thing crapped out in a couple thousand miles. Went OEM for triple the cost but it worked. Funny enough, the Dorman bearing eliminated my driveline vibrations, they came back with OEM.

thats good to hear. I don’t beat on mine but it does see mixed surfaces and when i wheel i tend to be rougher than mosts. I think ill go with Moogs since theyre readily available.
