You'll likely rub while turning, especially at full lock. I made the same size jump and didn't have nearly enough clearance even for the street. I had CMC and pinch weld flattened and some minor trimming done for the 285s and it wasn't nearly enough clearance.

Biggest thing is getting an alignment that pushes your wheels as far forward as possible. You want maximum caster; front LCA pivots in as far as possible, rears out as far as possible, then dial in the toe. Should be drivable on the street, but watch those steep parking lot entries...

If you ever do want to take it off road, plan on lots of trimming.

Definitely going to rub. I'm running 35x11.5 and at full lock and going over an inclinded driveway I got very slight rubbing. So definitely 12.5 will rub. I'm running 17x9 -12 and I believe your set up with the wheel spacer put the outside of the tire half an inch out further. Also have cab mount relocate. Before is before and after some work with a 10lbs sledgehammer. Picture without mud was the clearing I did to fit 295s. Another picture of what mine looks like from the side.

Man I really want these tires! They are C range too. Can you post some pictures showing how skinny they are? Similar to this angle...

Best two angles I got. One from the front and one back.

I just used some L tracks and a macs tire strap. Bolted it through the bed. Used fat washers in the back side to help distribute the load but I would recommend reinforcing the underside with a full plate.

Much thanks. I overlooked spare location when I went with a bigger tire. Been a thorn ever since. Thanks for the pics.

I think going from 285/75/17 with .75" wheel spacers to 35/11.5/17 would work for me.

    Nitto Recon Grappler specs 34.53" C-load 64lbs

Seems very marginal larger than my 34s(33.8"/11.2"). I only have 10K mi on my Cooper XLTs.

Nice. I’ve been wanting to see 35’s on stock 16x7 wheels. Don’t want to get new wheels but I’d like to bump up to 35’s. Looks like they work great!

So lets say I'm on 285/75/17 .75" wheel spacers, CMC, 3.75" lift, JBA UCA with max caster. 17x8.5 O offset. Currently no rubbing on pavement.

I get 35/12.5/17. Would the .75" wheel spacers help or cause more rubbing? I'm willing to cut fenders if needed.

    All pavement, zero off-road.
