new need advice

ya i like the progresion.. i want to enjoy the truck i dont want to go from stock to fully done up.


i think i will stick to the just the wheel sand tires for now.. gna look for some wheels i liek that are lighter.. i abosultely love the kmc GRS


but i think it is a bit heavy as well..

 

That was an in progress picture of my cab mount chop. The chop and pinchweld fold are all done there the finder liner and flare is cut out for clearencing but the new section of the fender liner hadn't been installed yet.
I'm not familiar with kmc wheels to much so I can't comment on the weight on that one.

At 32lbs for a 17x8.5 0 is a touch heavy yet you will feel that especially with the bigger tire and more agressive tread.
I would aim for 25. Mine were 30 initially and definitely wished I had bought lighter wheels but I just focused on looks at the time.

 

Don't go crazy with lifts etc etc on a brand new Taco it might affect your Warranties. Seen it here on TW so many times guys doing modifications then coming on here whinning about a shitty truck they have when this could of been avoided without the Modifications that were done wrong but they will not admit to it. Just saying be careful wait 3 years or so.

 

Funny, I just watched that the other day. Of course I already bought fox elites, but they claimed they didn't test any 2.5's with adjusters so

 

i got the fox 2.5 dsc today. So far. Love them
