Thst wheel tire combo will be fine. Leveling is a waste of time. Add some weight to the bed boom free leveling kit if you really want to. My truck is nearly level now thst my leaf pack has settled and I'm going to drop my front ride height to get the rake back. It sounds easy and cheap but the end result just isn't worth it.

Folks like the looks I guess?

“Leveling” the truck makes absolutely zero sense to me. But that’s like my opinion.

Thank you very much. Finally an answer to my question, as for the rest of the ignorant comments….. like my post says I want to level my Tacoma and put 265/70/17” tires and when I’m bouncing over ruts, mud holes or what ever else you find in the bush I don’t want the risk of smashing in a fender or catch something inside the wheel well…..I fully understand how a rake works and that when I put a load in my truck it sits level and with a leveling kit it’s going to look sagged out in the rear….have none of you not heard of airbags???? There a great accessory Firestone makes them and they work great. And for the rest assuming that I don’t know what a truck is used for…..lol well, hats off to ya

Which ignorant comments? The ones that rightly pointed out the downsides of leveling a truck?

So you want to raise the front end only to avoid wheel well damage? And fix the rear end with airbags? I'm not sure I follow any part of that logic.

Put some spacers on the front and be done with it.

    A) your LCAs have bump stops, and a 265/70-17 tire isn't going to collide with anything whether you're lifted, dropped, or stock. I humbly suggest reading up on what is- and what is not- affected when making ride height changes to an independent front suspension. It will answer all of your questions so that you don't have to rely on the consensus of the peanut gallery.

    B) just cause you don' like the answer don't make it ign'ant.

None of that is an issue with stock suspension. Your argument would of been much better stated towards dragging the belly of the truck and getting high centered. At which point if you plan on going that hard your better off investing in full skids rather than a level.
Hell my 295's on -25 and just becoming an issue with hitting flares and the wheel well.

Mine fit fine completely stock. Came on truck new. I never had mudflaps though. Here's a pic before I lifted it. O my bad mine were 265/70r16 not r17. Sorry.
