Trucks back. I have a whole load of new gaskets, tires, sensors, paint repair and etc done. Truck appears to be all good to go.

Got under there to fully assess my future POR job and was pleasantly surprised too, frame campaign was done on it, no idea when the last undercoating was done but other than some minor frame weld rust it's good

Glad to hear it was a positive outcome after all. What all did they exactly do? Do you know?

Front timing 2x, Rear main 2x, oil pan gasket, all the fluids requires for those. I believe the coolant pipe was serviced too.

Side note does anybody have a high pitched whine when they put the truck in drive? It sounded like squeaky brakes but I was at a stand still, went away when I put it in park and back in drive

This is exactly why you only buy a used 3rd gen CPO.

This would be $$$$$ in repairs if there was no warranty. All the issues you have with the truck seem to be more and more common on here.

Any modern vehicle with 70k should not have any of these issues.

We have a differential howl and interior water leak, checked the cowl and it's clear. Does look like a replaced windshield so maybe a bad seal?

1st and 2ng gens don't really have any of these issues to be honest.

I mean the oil leak is a bit on the odd end, especially since it couldn't be fixed the first 2 times. Same with the new interior leak

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
I am shocked they sell you a vehicle with these issues out the door:

“the coolant reservoir is empty but there is enough in the system so it doesn't overheat, the power steering fluid is below the cold minimum line”

Jeez, dealer sells a used vehicle, all fluids should be topped up.

Further update, truck was supposed to be done either last Saturday or today, no call yet

I did get a speeding ticket in the mail, it was during a time that the dealer had it in for service and a tech was driving

Jeez, you haven’t been having much luck with this truck. Hopefully no more drama after this and you have a solid truck moving forward. Sounds like you’ve been calm and patience during this ordeal. Hang in there.

Did where they got it make any sense? Or were they using it as the shop truck for errands? If it’s way off course, another opportunity for the dealer to ‘make it right’.
