Hey all, just got word my new 2023 TRD Sport premium manual showed up. Picking up next week getting TRD lift installed, FULL 3M, and running boards….to start anyway ‍♀️…. What are y’all thoughts never owned a Toyota product….my looser boyfriend took my ford tremor(piece of shit)… so in my midlife crisis I thought why not… planning on putting a set of 265/70/17 with TRD PRO rims and eventually a winch on the front and some how fab up a winch in the box for loading that record bull elk that I booked a guided hunt for this fall….anyhoo curious to hear y’all thoughts on my decision on the fly.. take care everyone

    I think I spy a local dealership...
Welcome to the toyota life it's far better than the ford hell.
The 265/70 is a great tire size. Unless you need side steps I would save the money mine drove me nuts drug along on everything and I always had dirt lined on the pack of my pants from them and the honestly made it harder to get in and out of the truck.
Besides that the trd lift is a great way to dominate on a brand new truck and retain full functionality and warranty.

Soooo, how did a boyfriend get away with taking your Tremor? That's theft unless it was in his name then it would be his Tremor in that case.

No way, are you going to fit and elk in that short bed. Unless you slice and dice it up first.lol

    Very Nice Midnight Black Sport!

I have the Auto version but I wanted something my wife could drive...yeah, I've been driving Auto since 1996.

Anyway, your truck and the TRD Lift you plan on doing sounds fantastic. I'm a firm believer in getting what you want...they can call it a "mid-life crisis" but I just ignore it.

I didn't need a long bed...the short bed has the space needed for my lifestyle.

Definitely post pics when you pick up your Sport and welcome to TW.

    my kind of women!
    Congrats on the new truck!
As far as weight in the rear; the stock Tacoma leaf spring are soft and sag super easy. You might want to do some reading, before you dive down the lift rabbit hole. It will probably save you time and money to replace the leaf packs while you are lifting the front,,, depending on what you go with.

    Welcome:wave:
    Congratulations on your new taco!
I’m running 265/70/17s on mine with the TRD Pro SEMA wheels, love em and still get 18 mpg city, and that’s with a 160lb ARB steel bumper, not too shabby for a second gen.

For all your bed winching needs... not sure if it will pull a elk, but it pulls 200lb ice fishing sleds up a ramp.

Who cares what happened, she got rid of the bum and the ford they belong together. Now she is stepping into a better relationship with her new Sport. I have one and love it. Congrats girl and enjoy it. OH Yeah the scoop is a boxer short dropper.

Lol thanks for all the welcomes y’all. As for the ignorant comments or asking why my ex took the truck….I’ll pray for yap’s‍♀️. As for the rest…. Well don’t you worry about fitting an elk in the box of a short box, if I can flip 1 over into a small tub trailer I’ll get this one in my truck. As for the winch,I built a portable stand that fits in the box of my tremor basically a headache rack with box rails but attaches to the bed and looking at pictures of the box design I’ll fab up the same thing out of aluminum so I can muscle it in and out of the truck by myself. As for the lift sagging, I already got a set of sumo helper springs coming lol.
As for the rest of y’all fine folk I look forward to getting to know ya’s better.
    TA-TA for now
