I wouldn’t be opposed to waiting until late September. Give people some time to plan for the date.

    Good morning Delaware!

I'm use to the dark tint on my front windows while driving to work now in the early morning...the first time I was like, WTF? lol

@VXEric recommended "Mother's Back to Black" for my fender flares...so I bought some.

I was going to Plasti Dip them but will try back to black first.

Taking our daughter to Newark, NJ for a concert on Saturday...man the Turnpike is a heck of a straight-away drive! Glad I bought the EZPass.

    Good morning Delaware.

It finally stopped raining! My wife usually doesn't like to go out for dinner when it's raining but I got her out last night.

Today, we drive up north to Wilmington and then set off to Newark, NJ for a concert our daughter is going to.

    Enjoy your day, Delaware!

Time to head up to Wilmington first. Having a visit to a local coffee shop once we get there.

Then...off to the NJ Turnpike! Google maps says roughly 117 miles and 1.5hrs to get there.

Trip Advisor for things to do in Newark...sigh.

I’ll be down in Rehoboth 6/13-6/16 to do some fishing. If anyone is interested in tuning their Tacoma hit me up, I’ll make some time for you.

If I’m down in Indian River, maybe we could meet for lunch.

Fave spot is DeweyBeerCo or I can do my first visit to that place by the Inlet.

Well, that drive up the NJT was fun…NOT! Lol

Once we got to the Prudential Center and dropped off our daughter, it was time to head to IKEA.

Im not an excitable shopper but my wife found several things…$200 worth.

I was getting hungry after almost 2 hours of browsing. Wife picked a Mexican restaurant but when we got to it, decided not to enter.

It was my turn to pick so to Outback we went! Wife did salad, potato and veggies while I indulged in a rib eye, coconut shrimp, fully loaded baked potato and veggies. This was a treat because we usually eat at restaurants that are more vegan friendly.

One of the memories we will have are the terrible roads in the city. That and all the hodge-podge roads at intersection meets! Lol

Los Angeles roads intersect at all random sections so I get that…but the pot holes and sewer lids makes for a bumpy ride in Newark.

We found a parking spot 2 blocks from the venue so we could meet up with our daughter at the front doors. All went well.

Im glad our daughter was fully awake because I was up way past my bedtime. She drove us to her apartment while I took a nap. Of course, wife was fully awake.

Got home about 1:30am and just now woke up about 10:30am. It’s raining and will continue to rain today for our drive back to Dover.

Today is the last day of April. Welcome to May and warmer weather…I’m still enjoying the cooler weather but at least I got front window tints.

Hopefully, I get to see Kevin @SH7mi while he fishes at Delaware Beaches!

    Good morning Delaware!

I need to do an oil change to my wife's Elantra this week. Looks like the Auto Hobby Shop on Dover AFB have reduced their hours:

    Sun-Wed CLOSED
    Thu/Fri 1 - 7pm
    Sat - 9am-4pm

pretty good actually. was in and out the office in total probably an hour and a half, and the procedure was only about 15-20 min. didn’t hurt at all and honestly couldn’t feel much at all. my vision is pretty clear now (learned today via my check up my vision is now 15/20). still fuzzy with lights but apparently that’s normal for a few weeks because they’re dry. all in all i highly recommend!!

    Good morning @Dream Weaver & G'morning Delaware!

    This is it!

    My Tacoma 2yr anniversary month.

The last of the ToyotaCare Service will be at C.F. Schwartz.

I've had great customer support at this dealership and will continue to take my Sport to this location.

i hear good things from them! except they wouldn’t sell me the 4runner pro wheels i have now because they “couldn’t guarantee they’d fit” (lol look at me and 1000’s of others). i suppose it was to cover themselves in case anything happened because they technically haven’t been “toyota tested and approved for tacomas”. can’t blame them though considering they’d be basically a spokesperson for toyota if they were like “yea they’ll fit and have no issues!”

They were being cautious about the wheels.

I met that lady that does those enthusiastic commercials with her dog, "Bruno." lol

It took a second and she knew as I did the double-take!

Anyhow, I've always inspected my Tacoma after service.

Apparently, I'm the only customer who they remember opening the hood and getting under the truck to inspect--according to Laurie, the Service Rep.

    I'll be there today.

So, I told the service folks at C.F. Schwartz the noise my front suspension was making...

Turns out, the 2 bolts that connect the TRD Skid and the Talon CAT plate need to be re-torqued.

The tech walked me to my truck to show me why the noise was happening.

My son-in-law recommended blue loctite (medium) once I remove the bolts.

I may put a fiber washers in between both contact points of the spacer to prevent noise.

    Good morning Delaware.

Got some things to do this week/weekend:

    Wife's car oil change
    My Sport's oil change
    Change Blades on Riding Mower

Now that my ToyotaCare Service is complete, I'll be doing my own oil changes at Dover AFB Auto Hobby Shop.
