    That looks awesome! Congrats. I thought about this a few years back but reverted to maaco knowing it would be pinstriped from the trails ... but damn that looks good!

    That looks really nice! Do you know if the installers did any special prep where the vinyl was going over the iffy clear coat spots? Looking to do something on the roof of my truck possibly where the clear coat has failed.

    I've wrapped cars with failing clearcoat and it has to be sanded completely off or the vinyl won't stick or the clearcoat comes off on the vinyl when trying to reposition and the whole piece is ruined. Ive done it with a razor, sander etc. It's a PITA which is why alot of wrap businesses don't like to do those. It can be done without sanding off the clearcoat completely by blending it in but some imperfections will show through especially on gloss vinyl. Vinyl with patterns on it like carbon fiber not as much.
