I disagree...I travel for work and every other region I go to, with the exception of the NE, the people are much more friendly. I blame the shit weather here...everyone is depressed and disgruntled

 

It's superficial friendliness... we're the same deep down, we just don't put on the superficial pleasantries.

 

Let's save the disgruntledness to another forum so this one doesn't get locked and/or people getting TW "vacations".

You proved your own point bro. Freedom of speech and acceptance allows people to have varying view points. Why come to Oregon/Washington and try and make it California. Keep the extremist woke ideology out of other states and let us stay cool. Prior to the woke movement, Oregon and Washington state had incredible diversity and acceptance. Now it’s just a bloodbath of extremism and no one can seem to find a middle ground. At least amongst politicians. Us commoners get together and can seem to make it work though.
I went on a cruise last month and even Californias were asking if I was planning on moving out of Oregon, when they found out I lived in Portland. When that happens, you know it is bad.
