TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
If you are going to install replacement decals I would look at some vendors that can custom make for you at a lower cost.

The drop down steps seems like something easy to get hung up on. So I guess when get my truck lifted a bit, I might have to walk around and give my wife a boost up to the sliders. :)

Just jokes. I agree with you, but that is sadly the truth for most products that are "made in the USA."

When you break it down past manufacturing and start looking at raw materials and by-products there are very very few goods that are truly 100% domestic.
    Damn the WTO huh

Buying the original to support a small business vs buying a knock off copy from a large corp. I chose to support the small business.

Quite a dilemma, but a quick calculation in my head shows that new decals are bit less expensive than a new wife. But since I have little skill in applying decals, I'd probably mess it up the first time so I'd need to factor in $160 vs a new wife.

In answer to your survey question, I have not removed my decals but did give it some thought. My wife says she doesn't really care what I do to the truck but sometimes I get that "is that really necessary?" look.

Touche, but for all you know I could've used the money I saved to support another small business. It's all subjective and trivial to argue about

Took the dealership decals off on the truck bed and got some other ones off Etsy. Bought blacked out emblems for the "tacoma" on the passenger and driver doors. I did completely remove the V6 one on the tailgate. Then I realized i wanted the black inserts for the TACOMA lettering on the tailgate.

I say keep them off. Removing mine was one of the first things I did. Took them off my SnugTop too.

    Brand new.
Did you lift it or just crawl under it to install them?

Didn’t have to lift. Plenty of space underneath. (My truck is not lifted either). Super easy install.
Piece of advice though. I’ve cut a little bit of the driver side shield front-inboard corner. Lots of folks here saying it is too close to the drive shaft.

I was all ready to place an order on these sliders. IMHO all rock sliders are way overpriced, but it is what it is and I was willing to pony up. When i got to the cart and saw the $225 shipping, I said F this. Couldn't do it. I'll have to find another option. 5% discount isn't s*it.

I think a high pitched squeak is gone. The top panel (MTS, locker, etc). Dealer just called and said they heard the squeak that is cancelled by holding that panel down or by putting a folded piece of paper ... they fixed by putting a thick felt pad under the panel.

They said my after-market dashcam made noises ... mounted to windshield with rearview-mirror-class double-side and I never heard it ...

But my "mouse squeak" over roads may be gone.
