I'll sell you my low range harness/relay kit and the OEM Elocker actuator. Need to solder the wires on the actuator to the harness because the crimp job they did was garbage and it keeps pulling wires out of the pins.

That's because you can't get it to work reliably and not because you didn't need it tho right?

yeah the low range provided connector at the actuator pulled apart on the first wheeling trip lol

It all works when I hooked it up recently. I'm just procrastinating dropping the harness and actuator to bypass the connector and solder the wires directly. I could probably get away with heat shrink butt connectors and a wrap even

Oh man the owner is on a rampage today, can hear him yelling at people from the other side of the building lol. And he's coming over in a bit to talk about a big shoot we have coming up that he wants to do this week before he goes back to England, but we're nowhere near ready.

    rip me

School did not prepare me for the 8hr work day where your main project gets interrupted every half hour so you spend 2hrs a day on it, 2 hrs on the interruptions, and 4 hrs transitioning between the two categories lol

Interesting morning/afternoon, fender bender in the wagon. Nothing crazy but still annoying. Was a company van. Luckily the Chevy/GMC bumpers are low enough that it didn't go into my rear hatch. (and I didn't go into the person in front of me) Gotta get truck fixed quickly now so I can get it in shop.

That blows. Work van in front of me wrecked the rear of the mini van in front of it when I was on the way to work yesterday. Such a fucking headache.

That sucks, hope the damage isn't too bad. Last time I got bumped from behind some BMW did it going only maybe 5mph but luckily I was in the Tacoma....her bright yellow hood hit my rear steel bumper and peeled the corner of her hood back like a tin can about 6 inches.

I was at a stop waiting for a pedestrian to cross and she just bumped right into me, probably on her phone.

Yeah it sucks, it's more frustrating than anything else when they're minor like this. It was the guys first accident too so he was a little nervous and very apologetic. My mom happened to be with me because I was helping her put some stuff into her storage unit so I'm just glad it wasn't anything scary. Also listening to my mom yell fuck repeatedly in the car right afterwards was kinda funny.

Since it's gonna need work/paint on the bumper I might just add (on my own dime obviously) getting all the plastic fender and body cladding paint matched, was planning on having it done sometime anyway.

Yeah it's not bad, just the rear bumper composite material, no metal or anything. Sensors in the bumpers all work, all in all it should be cosmetic unless it bent the inner brace under the bumper but still easy fix. I just didn't want it on my CarFax haha.

I can imagine a BMW hood peeling at that perfect height hitting a Tacoma bumper, that would suck! Especially with a hitch on it. Ouch.
