    Here's the floorplan for this one; I'm not a huge fan of the kitchen because it has 2-sided upper cabinets that go over the peninsula, but I like everything else about it!

    Pits aren't as common as they used to be, the insurance folks frown on them anymore.

    When you consider the cost of the masonry work involved and the insurance hassle a lift is easier, more affordable - and more useful too.
