put my headers on over the weekend and man do they make my truck sound bad a$$! i have a magnaflow cat back exhaust on it already and it sounds beastly now...

installation was definitely a PITA!!! disconnecting the steering rod to put the driver side in will save you tons of time and effort. there are two bolts that get removed to loosen up the clamp holding the two pieces together..undo the bolts and slide the clam up and you should have a separated steering shaft (make sure you mark on the clamp and the boot for proper alignment after).

the O2 sensor plugs are a pain to disconnect and the driver side was a tight fit to reconnect, but after unbolting the bracket the plug is attached to and reattaching after i reconnected the sensor it fit alright...

the nuts are tough to get back in with a socket, so i suggest some ratcheting wrenches..

    have fun!

idk about how well my butt dyno works, but i do notice that getting up to speed is much easier and when comparing the rpm to speed per gear, my rpms are lower at a given speed per gear (if that makes sense)...or maybe i'm just imagining things...but tunnels are fun again! once i get over the great sound of my exhaust maybe i'll get an idea on how the mpgs are effected

Proper group buy etiquette requires one to play a sound clip of their exhaust coupled with the new headers. I want a 'better' sound and your setup is very intriguing.

Also a tip with the O2 sensors... use a small flat tip screw driver and stick it into the side of the clip and separate the 'tooth' from the clip. The sensors pull apart really easily.

^^^Nice. Do you get ANY drone in the cabin, ever? That is something I couldn't handle. Thanks for the clip!

cabin noise is definitely there, but that's the price you gotta pay unless you want rip apart the cabin to sound dampen it...not often that i am at a constant speed so the drone isn't too bad for me...when i hit utah going west it starts to flatten out and i get a little tired from the constant drone...but once again, it's worth it
