Brings back memories :D...had a 61 Impala, that the torque converter bolts came loose . Put the car up on blocks got a new converter and flywheel and was ready to tackle the job on Saturday and Friday night it snowed :annoyed:. Got out the shovels, dug around the car, put down scraps of carpet and got it done (glad I had the drop light to warm the fingers up). Those were the days.

Only experience on the Autobahn did my heart good when I was being passed by a,Mercedes and there was a Jeep wrangler right on his bumper flashing his lights for the Mercedes to move over so they could pass.. The rental car I had couldn't get out of its own way.

Morning all, Turkey opener here in ct.
Sat from pre-dawn for a couple hours. One distant Tom gobbled from roost and a couple hens went by. That's all. Thinking the 95 degree weather couple weeks back screwed them up a little.
Using a Pedersoli 12ga SxS Black Powder gun.

Got free entertainment across the road this morning.
The Tree Dogs are making short work of a 90 ft Pin Oak. Main trunk has been rotted for years. Squirrels go in one hole and come out another.
Amazing what a boom mounted Hydro Shear and one guy on hooks can do.

Just make sure you turn either the body or the frame around before you put them together.

    ;);)

    Sweet machine!

I probably had a hand in building that truck. I work for Palfinger in Tiffin Ohio. We build a lot of these tree trucks. Happen to remember the company name?

    Cool!
They're down to the trunk now. Strong boom!.
Looks like "Rayzor's Edge" on the side of the trucks.

edit: "Palfinger" name on the boom.

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee::notsure: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Weather guys beginning to sound like the boy who cried "wolf" again - it's Spring; they do that. Severe, not severe, no, just rain, no rain, severe! Supposedly, some late tonight. 99% out there right now, means I'm not rushing to get out there.

Most all of my solar control rebuilt yesterday after the dentist. Should have it in the shed for testing this afternoon, then tie it all down. Once it works, I can get to replacing the tubing for the water.

    Morning all:

Not the part about his health problems, but that's cool that his parents bought him that car and that he got to enjoy it through others.

    Cars looking good Mike!

I remember that one. It reminded me of Razor Ramon from WWF. We finished that in June of 2021. Attached is what it looked like when it left. Depending on the company, it make look the same or it may be beat up from neglect. Which is crazy because these truck are over $600,000.

That's a lot more ambitious than my little reseal job on the Caterham! The transmission was leaking from literally everywhere it could leak; every gasket, every seal. Never saw anything like it before. I thought perhaps the breather was blocked and allowing pressure to build up, but it was open. The box had been rebuilt and had virtually no miles on it, but the rebuild was 17 years ago. Also the rebuilder appears to have owned stock in an RTV company. I swear they used an entire tube of the stuff on this little gearbox. Hopefully I've cured the problem.

Still doing some work on the engine and engine compartment, some of it to correct really iffy work performed by a local restorer with a huge reputation and an hourly rate to match. Let's just say I won't be spending any of my dollars in that place.

    And cutting stone/bricks, and...
It's my second one, and it's beat up and works great. I destroyed my first one - bought when they first came out.
